Starting wage for this position is $15/hr

The Sample Maker is responsible for sewing all company samples (in required sizes) from start to finish using The Tiny Closet sewing and manufacturing method.

You must have previous knowledge and experience in sewing apparel, specifically knitwear.  Experience working with a industrial sewing machines is preferred required.

Primary Duties:

• Sew and press a variety of garments in various fabrics from start to finish with a high standard of quality

• Meet daily production needs of 6 garments per day, working 2 days per week to start.

• Master all company techniques and guidelines for finishing and tagging all Tiny Closet garments

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Skills/Abilities:

• Experience using the following industrial machines: overlock, coverstitch, and single-needle.

• Ability to work independently for up to 7 hours per day.

• Able to prioritize work and manage time effectively

• Self-motivated problem solver

• Willing to learn and improve on sewing techniques

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Speak English

Work Requirements:

• 16-24 hours/wk Monday-Friday between 9-6pm with an option for flexible scheduling of your choice, contingent on company needs and approval
